Short answer: yes, with your own Meta API key. Meta is one of the built-in providers in AskWatch. Set up API access at dev.meta.ai, paste the key once on iPhone and Meta’s Muse model answers on Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and in CarPlay. On the watch the request goes from the watch straight to Meta.

The Meta models in AskWatch
| Model | Can do | Included in |
|---|---|---|
| Muse Wonder 1.0 | reasoning, images, documents | your own key |
Read from the app’s live model catalog, so it follows Meta’s releases.
A reasoning model that reads images and documents
Muse Wonder 1.0 always thinks before it answers, and you set how hard: low, medium, high or max. It reads photos and PDF documents you attach on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Paying for it
Meta runs on your own Meta API key: you pay Meta under its own terms for what you use and AskWatch takes nothing on top. There is no managed route for this provider — an API key is the only way in. You enter the key once on iPhone; iCloud Keychain carries it to your other devices.
What it will not do
- No Live Conversation. Live voice in AskWatch runs on ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok; Meta publishes no realtime voice API that AskWatch uses. Dictate AI, Speak AI and Voice Chat work with Meta on the watch.
- No web search with Meta. Pick a provider that searches — Perplexity, Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude or DeepSeek — when the answer needs today’s web.
- Notes are read-only. Meta’s model cannot use AskWatch’s tools, so it can read notes that match your question but cannot save, change or delete them. With Location & Maps for AI on, it still gets your location with the question and can open Apple Maps in chat on iPhone, iPad and Mac and in Dictate on Apple Watch.
- New answers need a connection. Recent answers stay in the watch history.
Questions people ask
Is there an official Meta AI app for Apple Watch?
No. Meta does not publish a watchOS app for Meta AI. AskWatch reaches Meta’s Muse model through Meta’s API with your own key.
Where do I get a Meta API key?
At dev.meta.ai: follow Meta’s steps to set up API access, create a key and paste it into AskWatch on your iPhone.
Is Meta included in AskWatch+ or Ultra?
No. Meta needs your own API key; the subscriptions include models from other providers.
