How do I get an API key?
Visit your chosen AI provider's website (e.g., platform.openai.com for OpenAI) and create an account. API keys are usually found in Settings or API section.
Why isn't voice input working on my Watch?
Make sure Siri and Dictation are enabled in your Watch Settings. Also check that your Watch has an internet connection (WiFi or Cellular).
Are my API keys safe?
Yes. API keys are stored in Apple's iCloud Keychain with end-to-end encryption. They sync securely between your iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Never sent to our servers.
How do I switch AI providers?
On your Watch, swipe left on the main screen to access provider selection. On iPhone, go to the Providers tab.
Can I use AskWatch offline?
AskWatch requires an internet connection to communicate with AI providers. The app itself works offline for viewing history.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → AskWatch. You can cancel anytime — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. If you have a PRO one-time purchase, it stays forever regardless of subscription status.
Can I use my own API keys with a subscription?
Yes! In Settings → Subscription, you can enable "Prefer Own API Keys". When enabled, your own keys are used instead of managed AI, saving your subscription quota. You can switch between modes anytime.
